Color
light paintings represent a specialty of mine.
The light paintings are night scenes from many different cities around the country.
After many experiments, I have perfected a method that produces interesting results consistently.
The excitement I experience when opening a new roll of prints to see just what appeared this time rivals Christmas morning as a child.
I use color exclusively under water as the earth's oceans are teeming with color.
Occasionally, depending on my mood I will shoot other color nature photographs if I feel the subject matter will be best served in color as opposed to black and white.
My color photographs are processed and printed in a professional commercial lab or printed on an Epson R1800 Printer with Espon Papers and Inks.
I prefer to mat in white for all my photographs, both color and black and white.
I feel that if the photograph holds up well with white surrounding it, then it is a good photograph.
It should not need the help of a color mat accent.
I prefer to use small profile framing as a definition of the border and not cause any detraction from the photograph.
